Maddie - New Apron in the Shoppe...

Hey ya'll, meet Maddie.. She's an old-fashioned styled apron our grandmothers might have worn..  Made of three different fabrics, one for the body, one for the contrasting pockets and yoke, and one for the binding.. In this lovely robin's egg blue print with brown paisley for contrast and finished off with a tiny printed brown binding.

This apron is such a pleasure to make.. I did adjust the pattern a bit a the neck, making it one piece instead of two with ties.. This is a size Medium.. Now, I would be happy to make one just for you in any colour combination you prefer..  Come on by the Shoppe for all the details..

This is a wrap apron, just put it around your neck and tie it around your waist.. It has 2 nice front pockets and long waist ties that could wrap around and tie in front if you like.. It's made from 100 % cotton fabric, so you can just throw it in the wash..

Hey ya'll, Welcome to my Apron Shoppe. I really am an Apron addict.. I just love them.. I wear them, make them, collect them, gift them to friends and family members, and even dream about them from time to time.. I'm always on the lookout for a pattern I haven't tried yet.. And as you can imagine, I now have a fine batch of handmade aprons in full and half styles..

My hubby and I are helping our oldest son raise our 2 granbabies, a four year old boy and a two year old girl..(Who I love making aprons for..)
Which we dearly love doing.. Sewing is my stress relief.. I can cut out the aprons at night and have something to sew the next day.. So far so good.. (smiles)
